Matias Damásio will take the stage at Campo Pequeno, in Lisbon, and Super Bock Arena, in Porto, on the 10th and 16th of December, for two unmissable concerts.
These concerts follow the artist’s latest singles, “O Nosso Beijo” and “Como Antes“, radio hits that are on the top of the main streaming platforms and have more than 11 million views on YouTube.
Matias Damásio is one of the most important Angolan musicians and composers, popularly known for his romantic style. It all started in the year 2000, with participations in several music contests, having won several awards and successes over the years.
In 2015 he released his fourth album of originals allusive to 10 years of career, entitled “Por Amor”. This album won 2nd place in the Top along with the award in Top Radio Luanda, thus becoming his “one-way ticket” to Portugal.
In 2016 he edited the same album by Sony Music Portugal, proving to be a success with the theme “Loucos” (Triple Platinum) standing out throughout the country with over 68 M views on YouTube to date.
In this year, Matias Damásio was invited by the Spanish artist Vanesa Martin to participate in a duet, “Porque queramos vernos” which reached more than 45 M views on YouTube, becoming a success in the Iberian Peninsula.
In 2018 he releases his 5th album “Augusta“ which immediately becomes No. 1 in the Top Sales in Portugal, selling out the largest room in Portugal (Altice Arena), being also invited to be present at the event Monaco Better World Forum where he had the privilege of performing for Prince Charles.
The song “Teu Olhar“ stands out from this work. It reached Double Platinum and has over 24 million views on Youtube. In the following year he wins the following awards: Lusofonia (Portuguese music awards), Golden Globes in Angola, Angola Music Awards, African Entertainment Awards USA, and in 2020 he releases a new EP with 6 songs: “Viver, Amar & Dançar”, quickly becoming a success, highlighting the songs: “Luz” and “Minha Pessoa”.
The latest singles “O Nosso Beijo” (2021) and “Como Antes” (2022) consolidate the career of Matias Damásio, who has established himself as one of the most successful artists in Portugal.
At the end of this year, the singer will perform on December 10th at Campo Pequeno, in Lisbon, and on December 16th at the Super Bock Arena, in Porto, with two unmissable concerts.
