Nádia Vasconcelos, better known as Cubita, was born in Portugal and has Angolan origin.
In 2009 she recorded her first song in Rap style and later began to have a taste for other styles of music. In 2011 he made his first cover and put it on Youtube. She recorded some songs in R&B style and entered the program Idols in 2012 and X-Factor in 2013, where she did not pass, but encouraged her to write her own songs, later creating a kizomba duo with a friend. In 2014 she released her first solo kizomba song called “Não liga”, introducing herself as Cubita. In 2015, she started giving small concerts in bars, and in 2016, she released her first music video with the song “Uma Chance”, which led her to give concerts in discos, bars and outside the country. Her music started to be heard by more people and in 2018 she reached 4M views on Youtube with the song “Me Fala”. In 2019 he signed a contract with Klasszik, the brand responsible for the successes of artists like Calema, Soraia Ramos among others, and released his first EP as the name “Era Uma Vez” containing four songs of presentation. In the same year he released the single “Au Revoir” which has been a hit on digital platforms.
