Calema, one of today’s most popular groups, continue to set records and have become one of the first artists to reach 1 million monthly listeners on Spotify in Portugal.
Fradique and António Mendes Ferreira, born in 1992 in São Tomé and Príncipe and currently living in Portugal, have been achieving success after success.
The most recent, Onde Anda (Golden Disc), is the result of a collaboration with Brazilian Zé Filipe. This new single is characterised by the fusion of African and Brazilian rhythms that give rise to a perfect dance battle between two continents. São Tomé, Lisbon and Paraná are united in this new song.
The group, which has already sold out venues such as the Coliseus of Lisbon and Porto, Olympia and Manchester Academy, also have hits such as A Nossa Vez (99 million views on YouTube and 11 million streams on Spotify), Te Amo (50 million views on YouTube and 30 million streams on Spotify), Vai (71 million views on YouTube and 6 million streams on Spotify), Enty Hayaty (64 million views on YouTube and 10 million streams on Spotify) or Tudo Por Amor (42 million views on YouTube and 7.4 million streams on Spotify).
